Electrical Design Engineer – R&D (Marine Solutions)

Key responsibilities

• Create and update technical documentation and reference materials for electrical cabinets, ensuring compliance with design guidelines.
• Act as a liaison between R&D, Engineering & Supply, panel builders, classification societies, and the Factory Acceptance Test team, coordinating design changes and continuous improvements.
• Ensure electrical hardware design meets R&D project requirements before handover to E&S and other stakeholders.
• Guide, train and support internal stakeholders and participate in Factory Acceptance Tests of electrical cabinets.
• Communicate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• MSc or BSc in electrical or automation engineering or a comparable technical background.
• Solid understanding of electrical components, instruments, control panels and control systems.
• Experience with electrical hardware design and design tools such as E‑plan.
• Familiarity with building electrical control panels and PLC‑based control systems.
• Good English communication skills, both oral and written.
