Product Architect

About the role

The Product Architect will lead the end‑to‑end design and development of innovative health‑technology systems at Philips in Shenzhen. Working closely with interdisciplinary teams, you will shape architecture, drive integration, and ensure robust, high‑performance hardware solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external partners to define and implement cutting‑edge system architectures aligned with product road‑maps.
• Design, optimize and validate hardware components and test systems, overseeing integration, testing and verification activities.
• Develop comprehensive product requirement documentation for new prototypes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Lead strategic discussions on system interfaces, risk management and resilience, mentoring team members throughout the development cycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Computer Science Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in system architecture, hardware engineering, or product development lifecycle management.
• Strong written and verbal English communication (CET‑6 level or higher).
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast‑changing, cross‑cultural environment.
