About the role

Join Bosch's eCOM development team in Shanghai as a Validation Expert for electric compressor motor projects. You will lead verification and validation (V&V) activities, ensuring high quality, on‑time delivery and continuous improvement of test processes for new‑energy automotive applications.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and control V&V activities against time, quality and budget targets.
• Drive continuous improvement of V&V strategy, methods and processes.
• Participate in project review meetings and report V&V status.
• Provide approval or rejection proposals based on defect status and residual risk.
• Define testability and traceability requirements for development within the domain.
• Plan and confirm resources and milestones for V&V activities.
• Document and maintain compliance matrices, TKU and test sheets.
• Maintain databases and tools such as E‑DaTe.
• Design and build new test benches, integrate existing procedures, and develop test equipment documentation, calibration, monitoring, maintenance and repair.
• Resolve problems arising during V&V execution.
• Support the Lead V&V Engineer in defining required test infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on eCOM development for new‑energy vehicles.

Required profile

• Mechanical, vehicle, mechatronics engineering or equivalent background; BS degree or higher.
• More than 5 years of engineering experience in validation for eCOM automotive projects.
• Deep knowledge of V&V strategy, methods and processes.
• Familiarity with V&V tools such as eDaTe, Design of Experiments (DoE) and test technology.
• Experience with Doors Next Generation, customer‑requirement servers, ALM and RTC.
• Proven ability to work in an international, technically demanding environment.
• Motivated, able to perform under pressure with strong ownership and leadership.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
