Early Childhood Teacher – Pre‑K

About the role

BASIS Bilingual Kindergarten Futian is looking for a qualified Early Childhood Teacher to lead a Pre‑K classroom for the 2027‑28 school year. You will work within a collaborative co‑teaching model, partnering with a Learning Enhancement Teacher to deliver a theme‑based, hands‑on curriculum that nurtures curiosity and lifelong learning.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a play‑based, theme‑driven curriculum aligned with early childhood standards.
• Co‑teach with the Learning Enhancement Teacher to provide personalized support and deep subject knowledge.
• Build meaningful relationships with each student to support individualized learning trajectories.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet developmental needs.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating classroom environment using STEAM resources, sensory spaces, and outdoor areas.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and collaborative planning sessions.
• Contribute positively to the school community and its collaborative culture.

Required profile

• Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Experience teaching Pre‑K or equivalent early childhood age group.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a co‑teaching partnership.
• Passion for child‑centered, inquiry‑based learning.
• Strong communication skills with students, families, and staff.
