Data Analyst

About the role

Join Treasury Wine Estates to transform finance data usage by building globally aligned reporting, analytics and automation solutions. You will partner with Finance, Treasury Business Solutions and Commercial teams to standardise reporting, improve data governance and enable faster, data‑driven decisions using modern tools such as Power BI and AI.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into scalable reporting and analytical solutions across regions and functions.
• Develop and maintain Power BI semantic models, dashboards and self‑service reporting tools.
• Support the creation of standardised KPIs, definitions and reporting frameworks to ensure a single version of the truth.
• Collaborate with central Data & Analytics teams to leverage enterprise data platforms and best practices.
• Implement automation and AI‑enabled capabilities to reduce manual effort and increase analytical value.
• Identify and simplify existing reporting processes, challenging legacy approaches.
• Ensure finance reporting is accurate, timely and trusted by stakeholders worldwide.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data and analytics or a data‑focused role.
• Strong curiosity and ability to ask insightful questions to uncover hidden patterns.
• Demonstrated empathy for end‑users, translating their needs into effective solutions.
• Understanding of responsible AI practices, data governance and secure handling of confidential information.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Power BI.
• Intermediate knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with AI‑enabled productivity and analytics tools.
