AI Software Architect – Image Guided Therapy

About the role

Join a leading innovator in image‑guided therapy solutions as an AI Software Architect. You will drive the adoption of AI across propositions, improving efficiency, workflow and clinical outcomes for minimally invasive procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive architecture and implementation for AI‑powered propositions that integrate with the IGT Systems and Devices portfolio.
• Create reference architectures, roadmaps and AI technology roadmaps, including development tooling.
• Lead the Architecture & Platform Creation program to de‑risk and mature AI products and platforms.
• Scout, evaluate and partner with third‑party providers and suppliers that complement our solutions.
• Collaborate with other Philips businesses and corporate teams to share knowledge and platforms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software architecture, machine learning or AI solution development.
• Experience in the medical device industry and building distributed cloud‑native or on‑premise software solutions.
• Deep understanding of cloud and container hosting technologies, security and modern development methodologies.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with clinical, marketing, regulatory and quality teams.
