Controller / Finance Manager

About the role

The company is seeking a Controller / Finance Manager to lead month‑end closing, financial reporting and budgeting for a manufacturing plant. The role acts as a critical business partner to the plant director and regional finance leader, ensuring accurate financial data, cost control and compliance with internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month‑end closing, upload data to BFC and prepare financial packages with variance analysis.
• Collaborate with the CSC team on balance‑sheet reviews, long‑aged item clean‑up and KPI reporting.
• Prepare rolling forecasts, cash forecasts and standard‑cost updates to support business decisions.
• Drive the annual budgeting process and act as a business partner to improve performance and gross margin.
• Maintain internal controls, support statutory audits, tax filings and ad‑hoc analyses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in controlling or FP&A within a foreign manufacturing environment; automotive experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of China GAAP, IFRS and financial statement reporting.
• Excellent analytical, time‑management and communication skills in both Chinese and English.

Required skills

• Proficient in SAP FICO module.
• Experience with Quik Sense and BFC reporting tools.
• Advanced Excel skills.
