About the role

As a Motor Mechanical Design Engineer (CA Designer_EM) at Bosch, you will create 3D and 2D designs for sunroof and window motors, covering mechanical structures, sub‑components and electromagnetic parts. You will work closely with global experts to turn customer requirements into robust product solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Use UG to develop 3D/2D models of motor assemblies and components.
• Generate product specifications, detailed drawings and BOMs.
• Translate customer needs into design solutions based on Bosch standards.
• Release engineering documents, including test specifications.
• Design new components and perform tolerance chain calculations.
• Collaborate with Bosch experts worldwide on motor development.
• Conduct DFMEA and manage test failure analyses.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of design/engineering experience; motor experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with common plastic and metal materials used in motor manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge of GD&T.
• Proficient reading, writing and speaking English.

Required skills

• UG (Siemens NX) for 3D/2D design.
• Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
• Tolerance chain calculation.
