Business Improvement & AOS Management

About the role

The Business Improvement & AOS Management role supports operational excellence at Airbus' Fuselage Equipping facility in Tianjin. You will act as a change agent, driving the deployment and maturity of the Airbus Operating System (AOS) while delivering continuous improvement projects that boost production efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Act as an active change agent to drive AOS deployment and maturity.
• Coach teams and transfer knowledge of AOS routines and tools.
• Implement industrialisation and business‑improvement projects.
• Contribute to continuous performance improvement to meet program objectives.
• Support production rate ramp‑up enablement.
• Improve efficiency of daily operational routines.
• Facilitate shop‑floor Gemba visits, providing structured feedback on Management Control Routine and 5S.
• Maintain, measure, coach and report AOS maturity.
• Set up improvement road‑maps for operational teams.
• Lead root‑cause analysis with cross‑functional stakeholders and support decision‑making.

Required profile

• Professional experience in improvement and performance management within a manufacturing environment.
• Awareness of compliance risks and a strong commitment to act with integrity.
• Ability to coach and transfer knowledge to diverse teams.
• Experience supporting production ramp‑up and industrialisation projects.
