Process Support Engineer – Semiconductor Equipment

About the role

As a Process Support Engineer you will guide semiconductor equipment through its full lifecycle, from concept to qualification, providing on‑site installations, system diagnostics and repair. You will work closely with customers and R&D teams to develop advanced processes, design experiments and analyse data to solve complex engineering challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑visibility customer support including equipment validation, process tuning, acceptance and volume‑production ramp‑up.
• Analyse complex on‑site process issues, perform root‑cause analysis, develop improvement plans and close problem loops.
• Develop and optimise process parameters for new products, applications or customer requirements.
• Design and execute technical experiments, collect and analyse data, and produce technical reports for customers and internal teams.
• Collaborate with customer process, equipment and integration teams as well as internal engineering, application and product groups.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD graduate (2027) in Microelectronics, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
• Strong foundation in semiconductor process, device physics, materials or data analysis.
• Excellent English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking).
• Good learning, logical analysis, experimental design and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to work on‑site at customer locations and travel 20‑40% domestically.
