About the role
Google Cloud is looking for an Applied Solutions Architect to bridge customer business challenges with Google’s engineering capabilities. You will work directly with enterprise customers in China to design, prototype, and deliver cloud‑native solutions that demonstrate real‑world value.
Key responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery sessions to capture customer requirements and current technology landscape.
- Design end‑to‑end system architectures that integrate with existing enterprise systems.
- Develop Proof‑of‑Value (PoV) applications, writing code and building prototypes on Google Cloud.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to stay current on industry trends and influence product enhancements.
- Present technical solutions to both technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 6 years of experience with cloud‑native architecture in a customer‑facing or support role.
- Proven ability to build full‑stack solutions that interface with enterprise systems.
- Experience presenting to technical and executive audiences.
- Background in architecting advanced analytics systems on cloud platforms.
