Analyst / Associate Consultant, China

About the role

IQVIA, a global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence, is looking for an Analyst / Associate Consultant in China. The role sits within consulting engagements and is closely supervised by consultants, engagement managers or principals.

Key responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, assist in reviewing and analysing client requirements or problems and developing proposals of cost-effective solutions.
• Assist consultants and project managers in developing detailed documentation and specifications.
• Under close supervision, perform basic quantitative or qualitative analyses to help identify client issues and develop client-specific solutions.
• Help design and structure presentations suited to the audience's characteristics and needs.
• Build a basic knowledge of consulting methodologies and the pharmaceutical market through consulting engagements and formal and informal learning.
• Engagement-based tasks are assigned and managed by consultants, engagement managers or principals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree; a background in medicine or business management is an advantage.
• Strong commitment to high-quality work and interest in rapid learning and skill development.
• Willingness and ability to travel and to work under pressure and challenge.
• Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills.
