Accountant – 8‑Month Temporary Position

About the role

This eight‑month temporary outsourcing position provides comprehensive accounting and financial reporting support. You will ensure timely month‑end close, balance‑sheet reconciliations, statutory compliance, and the processing of accounts receivable, payable, and fixed assets.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily AR and AP operations, including transaction processing, reconciliations, vendor master data maintenance, and invoice management.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, intercompany transactions, lease accounting entries, and other month‑end adjustments.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and prepare monthly financial reporting packages.
• Assist internal and external audits, SOX compliance initiatives, and finance‑related projects.
• Participate in finance process‑improvement initiatives and system implementation or upgrade projects.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Hands‑on experience with general ledger accounting, month‑end close, and financial reporting.
• Experience supporting audits, internal controls, and statutory compliance activities.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SAP B1 (preferred).
