Finance Manager – Joint Venture

About the role

The Finance Manager will represent Maersk in the joint venture, establishing frameworks, leading the finance team and overseeing all financial operations with accountability to the Board.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an internal control framework, lead internal and external audits, and ensure compliance with tax, statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP, manage budgeting, rolling forecasts and KPI reporting.
• Monitor operational costs, conduct profitability and margin analysis, and provide recommendations for cost optimisation.
• Manage cash‑flow forecasting, working‑capital optimisation, tax filing and annual dividend payouts.
• Lead, develop and engage the finance team, set performance objectives and promote a culture of accountability.

Required profile

• 8+ years of finance leadership experience, including 3‑5 years in a managerial role.
• Joint‑venture experience and background in logistics, supply‑chain or related industries preferred.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA or CMA is preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting and accounting standards.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP group reporting system.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
