Supplier Quality Engineer – CNC

About the role

As a Supplier Quality Engineer specializing in CNC, you will leverage your engineering background and manufacturing process knowledge to ensure every customer requirement is met. You will work closely with suppliers, internal teams, and customers to drive quality improvements across CNC machining, sheet metal, die‑casting, rapid tooling, injection molding, 3D printing, and urethane casting.

Key responsibilities

• Onboard and qualify new manufacturing partners (MPs), including QMS surveys, assessments and continuous improvement to meet OTIF goals.
• Develop and execute MP quality assurance processes, review 2D/3D requirements, and manage outgoing inspections and shipment releases.
• Monitor MP performance, conduct regular reviews, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Handle customer complaints, coordinate with TPM and other teams, and implement preventive actions.
• Identify platform improvement opportunities and refine internal processes to resolve future issues.

Required profile

• Mechanical engineering background with 10+ years of quality or supplier quality engineering experience in the CNC industry.
• Proven cross‑functional collaboration, problem‑solving ability, and strong communication skills in English.
• Experience managing corrective action reports and driving continuous improvement.
• Ability to work independently on manufacturing sites and under pressure.
