About the role

Hawksford is seeking a qualified Accountant to support its Chinese operations. The role involves handling full‑set accounting, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with Chinese laws and accounting standards for a portfolio of foreign‑owned clients.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all accounting work complies with PRC laws, regulations and accounting standards.
• Accurately complete full‑set bookkeeping, financial reporting and tax filings according to company and client requirements.
• Issue invoices and process online banking payments following standard operating procedures.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, tax authorities, banks and external audit firms.
• Perform other ad‑hoc tasks assigned by the company.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Financial Management or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience; experience in bookkeeping firms or CPA firms is a plus.
• Strong multitasking ability and flexibility to adapt to varying work schedules.
• Good teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Kingdee accounting software.
• Proficiency with UFIDA (Yonyou) accounting software.
• Experience using ERP accounting systems.
