UID Product Engineer

About the role

The UID Product Engineer will lead mechanical solution design for new UID product developments and engineering changes to existing products. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams and suppliers to ensure quality, reliability and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design for new UID products and engineering changes.
• Develop quality, reliability and validation plans with Lab, Sourcing, Quality, SQM and suppliers.
• Coordinate prototype builds, analyse results and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain product data, create and manage PDM/VC configuration rules, and update 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Handle technical quality feedback and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD tools such as Creo, SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Experience with Creo parametric design and PDM scripting (preferred).
• Ability to develop and maintain 3D models, 2D drawings and related documentation.
