Technical Service Manager

About the role

Axalta is looking for a Technical Service Manager in Beijing. The role helps customers succeed by ensuring product performance in the field, protecting Axalta's market share and improving customer satisfaction. It leads the daily new-line service work, sets up and manages the on-line service team and works closely with the sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the daily new-line service work following safety processes and practices.
• Set up and manage the on-line service team.
• Identify and build relationships with key people at customers.
• Establish a baseline and improve customer satisfaction.
• Run daily, weekly and monthly checklists to improve coating performance.
• Handle internal and external reports, maintain the customer issue report log sheet (QVR) and lead the ABC weekly call.
• Work with the CSR Sales team, GBT team and PE team to support the customer.
• Manage site team performance, set up site team COT, lead the IPP review and develop the site team to achieve business goals.

Required profile

• BS degree in Polymer, Fine Chemistry or Organic Chemistry preferred.
• 6 years of experience in a painting shop or coatings industry.
• Understanding of products, processes and OEM business.
• Good communication skills in Chinese and English.
• Self-motivated and able to manage a team daily.
