Supply Chain Manager – Assembly & Foundry Logistics

About the role

The Supply Chain Manager will act as the key interface between Bosch's semiconductor Logistic Planning group and assembly and test subcontractors/foundry suppliers in Asia, primarily China. You will be responsible for controlling the supply chain in assembly lines and managing supply activities such as loading, delivery fulfillment and pull‑ins.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and steer subcontractors, especially during critical delivery situations.
• Monitor and improve KPIs such as Cycle Time and Material Supportability.
• Provide timely updates on events that could affect Bosch’s business (e.g., strikes, accidents, airport closures).
• Ensure subcontractor actions are correctly understood and executed.
• Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance subcontractor performance.
• Track production lot progress and resolve logistics constraints, capacity bottlenecks, or hold lot releases.
• Guarantee timely delivery of parts and appropriate lot prioritisation.
• Offer short‑term on‑site support at assembly and foundry locations when required.
• Conduct regular visits to assembly and foundry partners.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of professional experience in supply chain or logistics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Management or a related field.
• Strong initiative, communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Intercultural competence and team‑player mindset.
• Analytical, structured working style with a willingness to travel.
• Assertive leadership, conflict‑resolution ability and high intrinsic motivation.
