Structural Topsides Engineer

About the role

The Structural Topsides Engineer will contribute to the design and engineering of reliable, cost‑effective, and safe topside structures for offshore projects. The role supports both operational and strategic objectives of the organization by delivering high‑quality engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Select appropriate methods and procedures and perform engineering work in line with international codes, company and industry standards.
• Plan, execute and optimise design activities, ensuring all deliverables meet agreed time‑frames and contractual requirements.
• Manage system interfaces and coordinate with vendors, subcontractors and third‑party partners.
• Apply lessons learned and assess change impacts across project boundaries.
• Ensure compliance with both SBM internal requirements and external regulations.

Required profile

• Engineer diploma in a relevant discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Civil, Structural).
• 0‑5 years of engineering experience in any industry.
• Ability to work within defined specifications and optimise designs for cost and safety.
