Sourcing Specialist

About the role

Drive sourcing activities for electrical components across China/Asia Pacific, supporting global category managers from the Shanghai plant.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category-specific sourcing strategies, conduct market analysis and cost modeling.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance reviews, risk mitigation, and compliance with governance processes.
• Support new product development by qualifying suppliers, negotiating costs, and handling RFx processes.
• Lead contract negotiations, master agreements, and quarterly business reviews with strategic suppliers.
• Improve sourcing policies, KPIs, and lead sourcing projects from initiation to completion.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum five years procurement experience in industrial/electrical sectors and three years in global sourcing.
• Proven experience with high‑impact electrical commodities and supplier qualification in Asia‑China.

Required skills

• Advanced data analytics capabilities.
• High‑level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong experience with ERP systems in an industrial manufacturing setting.
• Hands‑on experience with JIRA for task tracking.
