Software Development Engineer – AI/Big Data for Manufacturing

About the role

This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply AI and big-data technologies to translate manufacturing data into actionable insights, helping solve factory yield and process-engineering challenges. You will develop data-analytics tools, algorithms, and methodologies for engineers across Intel Foundry’s manufacturing sites.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data analytics solutions that convert manufacturing data into meaningful insights.
• Develop and maintain algorithms for predictive modelling, pattern recognition, clustering, anomaly detection, and time-series analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to address yield and process improvement problems.
• Deliver scalable tools using Python, R, and relevant data-science libraries.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Machine Learning, Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with data-analysis techniques such as predictive modelling, clustering, dimensionality reduction, anomaly detection, and time-series analysis.
• Strong communication, presentation, and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and deliver results on multiple projects.
• Experience with SQL, Hadoop, or Spark and background in the semiconductor industry are a plus.
