Site Manager

About the role

The Site Manager oversees the construction of new‑build vessels, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest quality standards. This role leads daily site operations at shipyards and works closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the construction of new‑build ship projects from start to completion.
• Coordinate daily site activities and liaise with shipyard teams to ensure progress aligns with project plans.
• Monitor construction quality, safety practices and compliance with technical specifications.
• Identify and resolve technical issues promptly to avoid delays.
• Prepare and deliver structured reports on milestones, risks and deviations to Head Office.
• Provide leadership, guidance and performance support to the on‑site team.

Required profile

• University degree in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Site Manager in shipbuilding or related construction.
• Fluent English (oral and written); knowledge of Chinese or Korean is a plus.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a multinational environment.
