Senior/Principal Physician – Cardiovascular & Renal Medicine

About the role

The Senior/Principal Physician (CVRM) will provide strategic medical expertise for the China development portfolio, guiding clinical programs from concept to regulatory submission. You will act as the medical lead on multiple trials, collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams and global study groups.

Key responsibilities

• Lead China protocol development, governance committee reviews and health‑authority interactions.
• Manage clinical trials as the medical lead, ensuring alignment with strategy, quality standards and data integrity.
• Quantify benefits, risks, value and uncertainty of clinical trials to support decision‑making.
• Network with internal and external experts, offering medical consultancy and sharing best practices.
• Maintain close connection with global study teams throughout each study lifecycle.
• Coach and supervise junior physicians, fostering their development.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Clinical Medicine, M.D. or Ph.D.
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a clinical research physician in pharma R&D.
• Proven experience designing and managing clinical trials.
• Therapeutic expertise in cardiovascular and renal medicine (CVRM).
