Senior System Hardware Engineer - MPU

About the role

The Senior System Hardware Engineer – MPU will lead system engineering activities for new product introductions, covering SoC definition, hardware design, bring‑up, debugging and validation. The role also includes creating technical documentation, reference schematics, and providing customer enablement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead NPI projects, including SoC definition, hardware system design, PISI, bring‑up, debugging, validation and technical documentation.
• Design cost‑effective reference platforms and produce reference schematics/layouts and application notes.
• Provide customer support, training, demo/prototype bring‑up, onsite troubleshooting, technical presentations and workshops.
• Manage multiple NPI and customer projects in parallel under aggressive schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of hardware board design experience.
• Independent experience designing system boards with Cortex‑A5x/A7x and power management (PMIC, DC‑DC, LDO).
• Strong PCB layout expertise, including material selection, dielectric stack‑up, SI/PI principles and HDI high‑speed layout.
• Hands‑on experience with signal integrity and power integrity analysis, PCBA manufacturing processes, DFM, EMI/ESD, thermal design and testing.
• Fluent in English and Chinese with excellent communication and presentation skills.
