Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Checkout.com is a global payments platform powering billions of transactions each year. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead critical projects, design scalable systems and collaborate across product teams to deliver high‑impact fintech solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and drive end‑to‑end projects, from design through deployment and maintenance.
• Design, develop, test and release clean, maintainable code for micro‑service based platforms.
• Own system resilience and performance, operating services at scale.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Experience delivering high‑quality code in agile environments under tight deadlines.
• Proven problem‑solving abilities, both independently and as part of a team.
