About the role
Bosch Group is seeking a Senior Software Architect to lead the definition and unification of control software architecture for air‑conditioning, refrigeration and chiller equipment. The role involves establishing maintenance rules, driving model‑based development initiatives and aligning cross‑departmental teams.
Key responsibilities
- Define and unify control software architecture for HVAC equipment and their controllers.
- Establish maintenance and operation rules for the new architecture.
- Drive Model‑Based Development (MBD) initiatives and clarify their relationship with the new architecture.
- Coordinate roadmap and application planning with product management.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience in embedded software and control systems development.
- Proven experience in software architecture design and communalization.
- Experience working in multicultural, multi‑disciplined teams.
- Strong analytical mindset with result‑oriented focus.
Required skills
- Embedded software development
- Control systems engineering
- Software architecture design
- Model‑based development using MATLAB/Simulink
- Knowledge of DevOps and Agile methodologies
- Understanding of thermodynamics and HVAC systems
