About the role

We are seeking a Senior Publisher to lead a portfolio of journals in energy and earth sciences, based in Beijing with hybrid working options. You will drive journal growth, manage editorial appointments, and champion key initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and accelerate growth of journal titles.
• Manage editor appointments and ensure diverse editorial structures.
• Engage with customers, gather insights, and improve community relations.
• Increase brand visibility through outreach and competitive monitoring.
• Lead selected projects, follow up on actions, and ensure delivery.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues on cross‑functional initiatives.

Required profile

• Fluent English with strong communication skills.
• Degree‑level education (field not mandatory).
• 5+ years of publishing experience preferred.
• Proactive, good negotiating and interpersonal abilities.
• Adaptable, able to work with diverse cultures and locations.
• Can‑do attitude and team‑oriented approach.
