About the role
The position focuses on managing service requests related to purchase processes and tools, supporting supply chain strategy, and driving cost‑down initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and implement nomination/RfQ processes, including documentation, contracts, cost negotiation and presentations for sourcing committees.
- Lead investigations and negotiations in the BMW system for technical changes and manage change‑management activities.
- Drive cost‑down projects, lead spare‑parts management until end‑of‑production, and ensure competitive pricing.
- Calculate and maintain engine/vehicle pricing, manage supplier risk status, and prepare reports with factual conclusions.
Required profile
- Open‑minded and proactive in a VUCA environment, with strong investigative awareness.
- Ability to handle multiple procurement targets and support annual purchasing agreements.
