Senior Logistics Specialist

About the role

The Senior Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing material transportation to customer sites, ensuring compliance with trade and export regulations, and supporting manufacturing workflow through effective planning and scheduling.

Key responsibilities

• Transport materials for delivery orders and enforce transportation agreements.
• Maintain trade compliance, export controls, and control domestic and international freight expenses.
• Plan, schedule, coordinate, and report logistics activities supporting manufacturing.
• Monitor workflow, assist in scheduling and prioritizing activities within the assigned logistics area.
• Provide customer service by coordinating with internal and external customers to resolve shipping issues.
• Specialize in the shipment of dangerous or hazardous goods as needed.

Required profile

• Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
• Familiarity with ISO 9000, IATA, OSHA, DOT, FAA, and FDA guidelines.
• Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve shipping issues.
