Senior Inventory Control Associate

About the role

The Senior Inventory Control Associate ensures that all clinical study materials are received, logged, stored and distributed in compliance with ICH GCP standards. Working closely with study project managers and lab teams, this role maintains accurate inventory records and drives continuous process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Collect deliveries from the loading bay, perform quality checks, receipt, storage and distribution as required.
• Maintain tidy shelves, execute stock rotation by expiry date, and record all movements in the inventory control system.
• Analyze inventory data, identify process improvements and monitor minimum stock levels.
• Place and track purchase orders, manage lead times and follow up on outstanding orders.
• Conduct regular cycle‑counts, review non‑moving or expired stock and coordinate discard procedures.
• Prepare inter‑lab shipments and provide logistics with necessary documentation.
• Train new team members and act as team lead/coordinator when needed.
• Ensure housekeeping standards in the warehouse and proper labeling of all items.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in inventory or warehouse control.
• Strong PC proficiency, especially with Excel and Word.
• Effective leadership, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Certified fork‑truck operation capability.
• Ability to build effective relationships with co‑workers, managers and clients.
