Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Asia Financial Shared Service Center. The role focuses on Record‑to‑Report (RTR) accounting operations and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and timely month‑end close in line with US GAAP, IFRS, or other applicable standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly expense accruals, reversals, amortization, bonus and VCP accruals, payroll, and other manual journal entries.
• Own lease financial management and the end‑to‑end PPE process, including capital improvements, capitalization, depreciation, and Capex database maintenance in Lotus Notes.
• Perform monthly reconciliation between Lotus Notes and HFM, and ensure full ERP‑to‑HFM reconciliation.
• Execute the end‑to‑end FX revaluation process.
• Manage monthly closing activities, ERP upload to HFM, HFM sun‑schedules, and related reporting.
• Conduct balance‑sheet reconciliations to align trial balances.
• Monitor Service Level Agreements, drive KPI improvements, and support preparation of financial statements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in RTR accounting and HFM environments.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
• Demonstrated ability to meet tight month‑end deadlines and produce accurate financial reports.
• Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills.
