About the role

Dipont Huayao Collegiate School Kunshan is looking for an enthusiastic Secondary English Teacher to deliver the Advanced Placement (AP) English curriculum to motivated high‑school students. The role begins in August 2026 and offers the chance to work in a vibrant international community that blends American and Chinese educational traditions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess AP English Language and Literature lessons for secondary students.
• Foster critical thinking, communication and reading skills through engaging instruction.
• Collaborate with an experienced international faculty to develop interdisciplinary projects.
• Participate in faculty meetings, student counseling and extracurricular activities.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to school improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) and relevant secondary teaching experience.
• Passion for student development and belief in every learner’s potential.
