Learning Support Specialist

About the role

Dipont Huayao Collegiate School Kunshan is looking for a Learning Support Specialist to join its Student Success Team. The specialist will provide targeted academic and executive‑functioning support to elementary and secondary students with mild to moderate learning differences, ensuring consistent, coordinated assistance across the campus.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and monitor Individualized Learning Plans (ILPs) for students with ADHD, attention challenges, and executive‑functioning difficulties.
• Support the Multi‑Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework and collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families.
• Deliver evidence‑based accommodations, skill‑building strategies, and learning techniques.
• Serve as a core member of the Student Success Team, contributing to school‑wide initiatives for inclusive education.
• Maintain documentation and track progress to inform instructional adjustments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, Learning Support or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience supporting students with learning differences in a school setting.
• Demonstrated experience working with ADHD, attention‑related needs, and executive‑functioning challenges.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to partner with teachers, counselors, and families.
