About the role
The school seeks a bilingual Biology teacher to deliver an engaging academic programme that blends Chinese and international curricula. The role involves creating an active learning environment and supporting each student’s success.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver Biology lessons that promote active learning for all students.
- Assess, track and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain a classroom environment that encourages learning and high expectations.
- Identify and address the diverse needs of students in a bilingual context.
- Ensure pastoral care, follow safeguarding policies and act as an academic advisor or homeroom teacher when needed.
- Prepare and grade examinations, manage classroom work and support school‑wide activities such as PTA events and extracurricular programs.
- Collaborate with colleagues, build relationships with parents and participate in departmental and school meetings.
