Sales Account Manager - Semiconductor Process Control

About the role

KLA, a global leader in electronics for the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem, is hiring a Sales Account Manager in Shenzhen within its Semiconductor Process Control (Semi PC) business unit. Semi PC designs, builds, sells and supports inspection, metrology and data analytics systems that help manufacturers produce high-quality chips. The account manager owns the business in their assigned area and leads results to meet or exceed targets.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the trusted technical liaison with customers: give product presentations, use technical leadership to identify customer pain points and propose KLA solutions.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understand customer needs and creatively resolve issues.
• Work with the technical team and production lines on challenging requirements, and generate new business by helping customers improve quality and create value.
• Understand competitors' strengths and weaknesses.
• Collaborate with the Service team to grow business and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Work with Finance, Trading Compliance and other functional teams to follow company requirements and processes, and run internal processes efficiently.

Required profile

• Familiarity with the PCB industry and strong connections with PCB China customers (preferred), or a semiconductor equipment background.
• More than 3 years of capital equipment business experience.
• University degree in Electronics, Mechanical or Computer Science or equivalent.
• Excellent account management skills and sales experience in the PCB industry (an advantage).
• Foreign company experience (an advantage).
• High-level verbal and written communication in English and the local language, strong negotiation and presentation skills.
• Up to 70% travel readiness and a team player.
