Regional Safety Manager (Electrical Safety)

About the role

The Regional Safety Manager (Electrical Safety) will lead health and safety management and electrical safety governance across Bosch's APAC sites. Reporting as the APAC Operational Electrical Safety Expert, you will drive regional safety programs, compliance, risk management and performance improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation and continuous improvement of the ISO 45001 OHS Management System across APAC.
• Develop and coordinate regional safety programs for machine safety, LOTO, contractor safety, high‑risk work, fire safety, confined‑space entry and explosion protection.
• Provide technical guidance and governance as the APAC Electrical Safety Expert.
• Maintain the APAC electrical safety network, mentor local electrical safety experts and facilitate best‑practice sharing.
• Conduct safety audits, assessments and system reviews, ensuring corrective actions are effective.
• Investigate incidents and near‑misses, perform root‑cause analysis and disseminate lessons learned.
• Deliver training, awareness initiatives and technical guidance to strengthen safety culture.
• Monitor safety performance, prepare KPI reports and coordinate regional safety initiatives, audits and emergency preparedness.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s) or state‑certified electrical technician/foreman qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical safety, occupational health & safety, EHS or facilities management, preferably in a multi‑site or regional environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, machine safety, LOTO, contractor safety, high‑risk work, fire safety, confined‑space safety and explosion protection.
