Purchasing Specialist

About the role

The Purchasing Specialist will lead procurement activities for electronic components and CNC equipment, ensuring cost‑effective sourcing while maintaining quality and supply continuity. You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to meet the company's strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimise costs, reduce risk and guarantee quality of purchased goods and services.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulations.
• Analyse market trends and pricing data to identify cost‑saving opportunities and recommend new suppliers or products.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure timely delivery.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end procurement process, from order placement to delivery, including order tracking and issue resolution.
• Build and maintain a network of trusted suppliers, conduct periodic supplier evaluations and drive continuous improvement of the P2P process.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement and vendor management of electronic components and CNC equipment.
• Proven negotiation skills and experience managing complex contracts.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
