System Architect for Car Computer

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled System Architect to lead the design, development, and integration of a car computer platform within a Service‑Oriented Architecture (SOA) Electronic Electronic Architecture (EEA). The role focuses on unifying infotainment, ADAS and other domain functions onto a single board while ensuring functional safety and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Define system block diagrams, select components (MCUs, power‑management ICs, communication transceivers) and standardize service interfaces.
• Design real‑time data exchange mechanisms such as Ethernet/SOME/IP and CAN FD to enable interoperability with domain controllers.
• Collaborate with software, systems engineering and validation teams to develop low‑level drivers, communication stacks and diagnostic functions compliant with AUTOSAR.
• Translate market requirements into technical specifications, support EEA roadmap definition and evaluate emerging technologies (high‑speed Ethernet, AI‑driven diagnostics, secure communication protocols).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Automation, Vehicle Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years experience in automotive EEA, SOA architectures or distributed controller solutions.
• Strong project‑management and cross‑department communication skills; PMP certification is a plus.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
