Public Affairs Manager – Government Relations

About the role

Airbus China is seeking an experienced Public Affairs professional to lead government relations and policy monitoring across the People’s Republic of China. You will act as the primary liaison between the company and key governmental bodies, ensuring that business strategies align with evolving regulatory landscapes.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with central and local government organizations relevant to Airbus’ operations in China.
• Monitor, analyse, and report on Chinese government policies, plans, and regulatory changes that could impact the business.
• Support the development of business strategies by integrating policy insights into relevant plans.
• Identify market opportunities and provide proactive support to business units.
• Ensure compliance awareness and act with integrity to protect the company’s reputation and sustainable growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• At least 10 years of experience in public affairs or public relations, preferably with prior work in a government organization or related domain.
• Deep understanding of China’s policy, regulatory, and geopolitical environment.
• Fluent oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese.
• Open‑minded, culturally aware, self‑driven team player with strong interpersonal abilities.
