Risk and Compliance Manager, Greater China

About the role

Join a global leader focused on sustainable solutions and help shape risk and compliance practices across Greater China. You will work closely with senior management and cross‑functional teams to protect the business, ensure regulatory adherence and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct investigations of incidents by mobilising internal and external resources and report to senior management in the China region.
• Strengthen the risk management system through regular risk assessments, development of mitigation measures and monitoring of their implementation.
• Collaborate with line organisations and group functions such as Risk & Compliance Management, Internal Audit, Internal Control and local finance teams to set standards and implement controls.
• Develop recommendations to modify processes and systems to minimise risk, improve performance and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Monitor emerging threats and regulatory developments at national and regional levels, providing expertise and raising awareness across the organisation.
• Design and deliver training programmes and support compliance‑awareness initiatives for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent experience in risk management, crisis management or a related field.
• Several years of experience in security management, information security, crisis management or similar disciplines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience working in a global company and familiarity with engineering business processes, including supply‑chain considerations, is a plus.
