Product Specialist

About the role

The Product Specialist acts as the primary liaison between Arrow's suppliers and its sales team, driving sales performance for specific product lines. The role focuses on building strategic supplier relationships, negotiating pricing, and increasing market share across regions.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the interface between suppliers and Arrow sales team.
• Drive sales performance for specific lines and collaborate with Field Sales to meet business objectives.
• Develop and execute a strategic framework to enhance supplier relationships.
• Negotiate competitive pricing and availability to boost sales and gross profit.
• Arrange meetings (webcast, phone, in‑person) to increase market share.
• Perform line‑card analysis by technology and vertical segment to identify strengths and weaknesses.
• Stay current on market trends and new technology developments.
• Conduct competitor line‑card analysis to ensure Arrow’s competitiveness.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of related experience with a four‑year degree (or equivalent).
• In‑depth knowledge of product line management and supplier negotiation.
• Ability to solve complex problems independently with minimal guidance.
• Experience acting as a resource for less‑experienced colleagues.
• Proven track record of contributing to process improvements.
