Process Support Engineer III – Front End & Epitaxy

About the role

As a Process Support Engineer III you will guide semiconductor products through their full lifecycle, from concept to qualification, providing high‑visibility on‑site support, system diagnostics, and complex equipment repair. You will work closely with customers and R&D teams on advanced front‑end and epitaxy processes.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical interface between customers and the Applied Materials Business Unit.
• Support semiconductor equipment installation, qualification, troubleshooting, and optimization at customer fabs.
• Develop and optimize process recipes to meet customer yield, performance, and integration requirements.
• Design and execute experiments (DOE), analyze process data, and provide technical conclusions and recommendations.

Required profile

• Strong technical expertise in Epitaxy and related front‑end semiconductor processes.
• Knowledge of multiple semiconductor processes and technologies, often owning key customer accounts or projects.
• Ability to solve complex technical problems independently and mentor less experienced engineers.
• Experience leading small to medium projects and influencing customer process roadmaps.
• Typically holds a master’s degree or higher with 3–7 years of relevant experience.
