About the role
Applied Materials is seeking a Process Engineer to join its Xi'an team, supporting the development and optimization of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
Key responsibilities
- Design, collect data, analyze, and compile reports on moderately difficult process engineering experiments.
- Perform hardware characterization on moderately difficult systems and troubleshoot challenging but manageable problems.
- Conduct root cause analysis, resolve process engineering issues, and measure film properties.
- Generate internal documentation, presentations, and technical reports.
- Communicate with customers to address process engineering concerns and partner with vendors and suppliers.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 2‑4 years of related experience.
Required skills
- Process engineering experiment design and data analysis.
- Hardware characterization.
- Root cause analysis.
- Film property measurement.
