Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Worker – Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation

About the role

Join the maintenance team at Novonesis in Taicang (Suzhou) and combine hands‑on industrial maintenance with SAP equipment master data management. You will help keep production running safely, reliably and efficiently while supporting continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation equipment such as pumps, fans, compressors, gearboxes, valves, motors, MCCs, VFDs and control valves.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks according to company plans, including lubrication, tightening, functional tests and instrument calibration.
• Assist in creating and verifying equipment master data in SAP, ensuring correct P&IDs, equipment names, models, specifications and locations.
• Maintain equipment BOMs by linking key and wear parts to the appropriate equipment.
• Record usage and replacement frequency of critical spare parts and provide feedback to maintenance and warehouse teams.

Required profile

• College degree or higher in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Automation, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 8 years of industrial equipment maintenance experience with hands‑on mechanical, electrical and instrumentation skills.
• Ability to independently diagnose and repair common faults while following safety procedures such as lockout/tagout.
• Proficiency in reading P&IDs, mechanical drawings, electrical schematics and instrument loop diagrams.
