Marketing Manager - Breast Cancer Treatment

About the role

Roche is hiring a Marketing Manager for its breast cancer treatment area in Shanghai. The role covers market research, strategy, pricing and budgeting, and works closely with Product Development, Production and Manufacturing on new products.

Key responsibilities

• Manage market research needs for products or therapeutic areas, including primary and secondary research such as labeling and advertising
• Analyze data and provide marketing insight and direction to optimize strategic products
• Contribute to the annual business plan and interpret scientific clinical data into commercial implications
• Direct the company marketing plan and supporting sales activities, assess potential markets and set pricing strategies, budgets and expenditure monitoring
• Develop short- and long-range product expansion strategies and interface with Product Development, Production and Manufacturing on new products
• Monitor competitive activity, identify customer needs and define vision, strategies and tactics
• Select, develop and evaluate employees to run the function efficiently; may act as a technical advisor for specific products

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree; medical, marketing or commerce background preferred
• 7-10 years of marketing and/or sales experience; 7 years in pharmaceutical or relevant marketing preferred
• MNC background
• Ability to adapt to different cultures and business styles, collaborative and innovative, with strong learning agility

• Strong oral and written communication and presentation in Chinese and English
• Strong execution capability and cross-functional communication
