Kindergarten English Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Kindergarten English Teacher to join our international K‑12 bilingual school in Beijing. The successful candidate will create an immersive English learning environment for children aged 2‑6 and support their social‑emotional development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver daily English lessons to assigned kindergarten classes, fostering an engaging and supportive atmosphere.
• Promote the school’s core values of unity, care, respect, service, and excellence.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of each learner.
• Observe, assess, and document student progress through portfolios and reports.
• Manage pastoral care, wellbeing, and classroom behaviour.
• Maintain a well‑organised, stimulating classroom that encourages independence and resilience.
• Build strong, positive partnerships with families and guide assistant teachers and classroom helpers.

Required profile

• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Relevant teaching certification.
• Early‑years or Montessori teaching experience is preferred.
