IT Support Specialist - PLM (Creo & Windchill)

About the role

JCI is looking for an IT Support Specialist (PLM Analyst) in Wuxi, China, to support Product Lifecycle Management processes with a strong focus on PTC Creo and Windchill. You will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain teams to manage product data, CAD models, engineering changes and product documentation throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain product data, CAD models, drawings and engineering documentation in Windchill
• Create, modify and validate 3D models, assemblies and 2D drawings in Creo
• Support engineering teams in product development, design changes and product releases
• Coordinate ECRs, ECNs and change orders through established workflows
• Manage CAD document lifecycles, version control, revisions, BOMs and product structures
• Resolve product data and process issues with Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams
• Ensure compliance with CAD standards, PLM governance and engineering procedures
• Support data migration, CAD validation, system upgrades and continuous improvement
• Provide end-user support and training for Creo and Windchill, and troubleshoot PLM/CAD issues

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, technology or a related field
• 3-4 years of experience in PLM, engineering design, product development or CAD administration
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work with cross-functional and global teams and meet deadlines

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with PTC Creo Parametric
• Experience with PTC Windchill or a similar PLM platform
• Technical skills: part modeling, assembly design, drawing creation, sheet metal design, GD&T, top-down design concepts, engineering drawing interpretation, BOM and document management, version control, PDM and engineering change management

Preferred: exposure to global engineering organizations, Windchill upgrades and migrations, ERP integration knowledge (preferably SAP), Agile, CAD data migration, CAD-to-PLM integration, and familiarity with AutoCAD, Inventor and Vault.
