ISV Solutions Architect, AWS ISV

About the role

The ISV Solutions Architect joins Amazon Web Services to help independent software vendors (ISVs) and their customers adopt and maximize the value of the AWS cloud. Working at the intersection of business and technology, you will translate customer challenges into scalable, cloud‑native solutions and showcase the possibilities of AWS services.

Key responsibilities

• Partner directly with ISV customers to understand their business objectives and accelerate cloud migration projects.
• Design and deliver reference architectures that illustrate best‑practice use of AWS services and partner technologies.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor, providing prescriptive guidance that aligns with long‑term customer outcomes.
• Create and present technical content, demos, and best‑practice guides for internal and external audiences.
• Capture customer feedback and convey the “voice of the customer” to influence AWS product road‑maps.
• Collaborate with AWS engineering, partner teams, and sales to drive adoption of new services.

Required profile

• Strong motivation to help customers solve complex problems using cloud technology.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
• Experience working with ISVs or software‑intensive customers.
• Proven ability to operate as a trusted advisor and influence technical decisions.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) services and architecture patterns.
• Hands‑on experience designing cloud‑native solutions and reference architectures.
• Familiarity with ISV ecosystems and partner technology integrations.
• Understanding of cloud computing concepts and best‑practice security and scalability.
