About the role
The HR Intern will support the people function at Philips' Suzhou site, contributing to process quality and continuous improvement within manufacturing. This role involves hands‑on operational tasks, research, and data analysis to aid HR initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Support day‑to‑day HR activities, including employee orientation, direct labor hiring, talent subsidy applications, and performance management.
- Conduct research and analyze data on HR topics, providing insights on trends, best practices, and competitive landscape.
- Participate in HR meetings, capture detailed minutes, and prepare accurate reports for stakeholders.
- Organize and maintain departmental documentation to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
Required profile
- Active university student (master’s preferred) available at least 3 days per week for 4–6 months.
- Good communication skills in both Chinese and English.
- Strong collaboration, ownership, and a can‑do attitude.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience using digital and AI tools for research and analysis.
